DEAD RIGHT

DAMNED FACT of damned blogs is facts are so often secondary to the opinion of the blogger.  The Heretik pleads guilty.  Shoot me.  We live in the Queen of Hearts realm, some Alice in Wonderland world where conclusions count early: verdict first, trial later.  So it is in the sad case of the bi-polar passenger who tried to get off a plane and get shot for what he said.  Or for what someone thought he said. Or for what he did.  Did he have a bomb?  Is it right to shoot somebody if you think he has a bomb?  Do you wait?  Do only idiots wait?

ONLY ONE THING is certain.  September Eleventh changed everything.  Every dumbass with a blog will tell you that, this dumbass included. We can't wait for threats to emerge . . . blah, blah, blah.  Survival is the first civil right.  What civil rights do you have if you are dead?  Actually the one thing that is certain is that September Eleventh didn't change everything.

SEPTEMBER ELEVENTH IS JUST the latest thing to hang on to for people. Those who claim that dark day changed everything are looking for excuses to bring back the methods and mindset of  even darker days in the past. Because we can't afford to get hit again by others, we beat the McKrap out of all that is best in our society. What now distinguishes those who say this is the right course is the righteousness with which they claim "the facts" only support their shoot first, ask no questions before or later opinions.  Other people are simply fools to ask for time.  Some line applies here about fools rushing in.  But who has time to cite it fully?  Google it, yahoos.
 
COMPARISONS ARE MADE about what happened in to the would be bi-polar bomber and the would be bomber in the British tube Menezes. The world heard all kinds of stories then about what the British police "knew" and had to do.  Menezes was dead after the first bullet in the head, the other six were just to make sure.

TODAY THE RIGHTEOUS who shoot to kill and ask no questions may have some questions for the British.  How could you possibly charge the police in that shooting when they were only doing what had to be done?  We can't wait for threats to emerge.  Blah, blah, blah.  The Heretik cannot wait for more opinions to emerge before the facts, facts and harsh consequences we all now must deal with.  But we deal with them less than the bi polar bomber and "the Brazilian" Menezes.  Both of them don't have time to offer opinions on why both of them are dead.  Thank god for damned bloggers who have the time and the opinions to speak for them.

CONTROVERSY CONTINUES  to rage over keeping the Devil Dog in Christmas Xmas.  A holy war An unholy war of the righteous and the lefteous is now engaged.  Oh, no.  Oh, no. Oh, no.

THE WAR ON the Devil Dog can be seen nightly on Fox News right after most of the program that will be dedicated to the War on Xmas Christmas.  Neither of these religious wars should be considered part of the government’s Global War on Terror (GWOT), a completely owned subsidiary of the War on Everything TM.

TOY STORY

BLOGGER POINTS to bias in NY Times story on bomber story in Iraq that leaves children dead, toys ripped apart, and “truth” bleeding.  Camp Katrina derides NY Times for not offering account of soldiers’ charity when suicide homicide bomber struck. Camper cites Foxs AP news

A homicide bomber blew up his car outside a hospital south of Baghdad on Thursday while U.S. troops handed out candy and food to children, killing 30 people and wounding about 40, including four Americans.

BUT AP DOESN'T use the phrase homicide bomber,  Fox edits homicide bomber in whenever AP or anyone else writes of suicide bombers. ABC News takes the AP feed and reports

CBS NEWS TAKES another AP feed this way.

A suicide car bomber targeting U.S. troops handing out toys to children at a hospital in central Iraq killed 30 people Thursday, including four police guards, three women and two children, officials said.

EVEN PRAVDA WRITES it the way the right wing FOX NEWS cannot.

THE TOYING with the news continues. Damned media, damned bloggers. Just another day in Iraq? Those kids are still dead.  Damn us all. Oy.

UPDATE
WHAT THE NY TIMES SAYS after the excerpt cited by Camp Katrina is a long list of incidents that say the war in Iraq isn’t going as well as some might like.  While it may come too late for those who stop reading after the first graph because they have already seen what they came to see, later in the Times piece you will find:

The bombing Thursday in Mahmudiya took place in the morning, as an American convoy was parked at or pulling up to the entrance of the hospital, witnesses said. Many Iraqis had packed into the reception area of the building. The bomber drove up in a red car that appeared filled with candies and bags of chips, said Omar Muhammad, 16, as he lay with bloody bandages over an eye and a leg in a hospital ward in Baghdad.
"The driver saw the Americans and tried to cross over a median to get to them," said Omar, who had been working at a nearby tea stand with his father and two brothers. The father and a brother died in the blast. "A policeman waved at him and tried to stop him, but he hit one of the Humvees."

RANTING PROFS POINTS OUT that Camp Katrina points out the suicide homicide bomber with the candies and chips.  So Camp Katrina must have read the list of sad events in Iraq before reading that the convoy was parked or pulling up.   Did the Times miss out on why the children were packed in the reception area to receive candies from the soldiers?  Did Camp Katrina in citing the Times use of “convoy” suggest that the Times was suggesting that the soldiers were merely passing by? 

DO WE JUST SEE in the “news” what we want to see?  Our soldiers struggle to do their best, to be most human in the most inhumane circumstances.  Those people are still dead.  Damned media, damned blog.  Damn us all. Oy.

TRAITORS

ARE YOU A TRAITOR? Here is where you can turn yourself in.  Know any traitors?  Rat them out here.  Or you will be viewed as a traitor.  More American than most?  Name anyone you think is less American than you.  Surely you can think of someone.  Or is it everyone who doesn't agree with you? 

A LOT OF TALK is going around about who is a traitor.  The heroically named Confederate Yankee gave space to a military man who thinks: If the consequence of your dissension provides comfort to an enemy with whom we are at war, then you must take responsibility for a treasonous act.

KNOW ANY IN THE RANKS of dissent?  Does your rank ass suffer from "dissension?"   Think the First Amendment is for weenies only?  'Fess up, bitches.  This kid thinks this kid is unamerican.  Who is more unamerican?  Is it possible one is just a dork?  It is time to name names. Or else.  Have you already done your duty and named names?  Are you now tired of all the naming of names?  Name the names of the people who have named names . . . . oy.
 

ZARQAWI "DEAD" AGAIN

AND HOW BADLY so some want Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to be dead for the last time?  A lot.  The winner is  Iraq the Model which posts Zarqawi probably killed!  And then follows that headline with:

According to these two sources , Iraqi and US military forces in Mosul think that Zarqawi, al-Qaeda leader in Iraq was possibly killed in a raid on a house where members of al-Qaeda were holding a meeting.

ZARQAWI MAY BE dead now, but if he isn’t, he surely will be “dead” again soon.  Why he “dies” so many times says something about our search for Osama Bin Laden, who isn’t “dead” at all.
