DIME TIME FOR DICK continues.  Word drops another aid is dropping a dime on Cheney in the PlameOut investigation [story]  Maybe Andy Card will have a  meeting on message discipline, if everybody isn't out trying to cut a deal.  Dick is as dick does. 

WORD IS it is David Wurmser who is the worm coming out of the rotten apple. Jane Hamsher of Firedog Lake says: If this is true, Fitzgerald has a frigging NeoCon choir on his hands.

THE HERETIK RECOMMENDS looking for more singers here for that chorus. And considering that both John Hannah and David Wurmser worked for John Bolton, maybe it is not too soon to wonder about what Bolton talked about with Judy Miller when he was so kind to see her in jail.

THE PLOT DICKENS [Steve Soto/ The Left Coaster] Raw Story thinks that the staffer who has been flipped by Patrick Fitzgerald is none other than John Hannah, who just happens to be one person at the center of any intersection between Dick Cheney and John Bolton. By pinning Hannah to a wall and making him talk, Fitzgerald will also be able to get the goods on the relationship between Dick Cheney, Rummy’s Office of Special Plans, Ahmed Chalabi’s Iraqi National Congress, the use of tainted intelligence by the White House Iraq Group in selling the war, and John Bolton’s efforts to harass the United Nations IAEA away from undercutting the administration’s WMD claims. Dragging Hannah in also drags in Scooter, as Hannah would have reported to him. And Keith Olbermann at MSNBC just confirmed that NBC knows Fitzgerald has already dragged in two of Cheney's staffers for detailed discussions.

And it certainly is delicious that the quickening pace of stories about Cheney’s office these last several days has led to Cheney resignation rumors now.

THE HERETIK HAS HAD ENOUGH Dick Cheney.  What about Bush covering his ass?

GETTING PAST THE DICK [The Talent Show] Let's assume for a moment that Murray Waas' sources didn't lie to him about what Bush and Rove told Fitzgerald. If that's the case and today's story is also true, then we've got a President who's in "cover your ass" mode. Regardless of whether or not the President was under oath, lying to federal prosecutors seems like a pretty clear case of obstruction of justice.

THE HERETIK HAS SEEN this before.  Martha Stewart went to jail for the same kind of lying.  This could be the boomerang of Enron, some crony karma come back to haunt Bush. In going after the girl while the guy pals went free, the Bush Adminstration has it very much in the public eye that lying to Federal investigators is a crime no matter who you are.
