THE SHOCKING BLUE
Hello Again to You Silly Amerikans who ThinK Little About Punishments Kruel and Unusual Going on All Around You. But you don’t know it. If you want some sizzle in your life gone bad, you don’t have to be a killer awaiting what some would kall your well deserved state sponsored kruelty frying in the elektrik chair. To repeat what Franz K has told you before, just get pulled over for a traffik offense and you can have fifty thousand volts cranking through your body in no time.
I look at your state and wonder why more people are not more outraged about these short of death taser electrocutions than this person. Or this one. Or this one. You think getting a shock from a wall outlet is bad? Try getting a lightning bolt shoved up your comfortable butt before you are arrested.
A TIP FROM FRANZ: Don't give Der Kommisar a chance to give you the shock of your life. If you have pacemaker, you probably are already driving like an old lady. Do look in the mirror sometimes. Drive slowly and karefullly at all times. You don't want to have your head feel like a kabbage for a week just because you had to have that kole slaw now for the Fourth of July Barbeekue, okay?
Koffee is again on the house today. You will have to go up on the roof to get it. Recommended Brew: Staasi Lightning, an East German blend
QUESTION: Has The Man made a mess of your plans at a traffic stop short of zapping you like Zeus? If you have any indignities you might share, please do so.

[THE SIDESHOW]
Sitting here watching the Live 8 - Pink Floyd
There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re sayin’.
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.
