The Heretik and Lefty Louise welcome you to Lefty's for Saturday Sunset on the Bay of Confusion. Drop a comment or a link in the tip cup to keep bartenders Paul T. Geist and Franz K. happy, or as happy as can be. We will see .. . . more to follow. . . .this is everywhere . . .
Louise will be at the door to keep out the riff raff, but once you are in riff away. All drinks are on the absent but well loved Betty Blogger. Thanks for your support
Vito, the blog is fine except for the info, as far as I can see but then again I have been sent behind the bar. Sure hope this is not a regular thing.

Don't be long back there Night Bird. I'm liable to be kidnapped or something.

I'm sure everything will be fine in a few hours. Or days. Or years. We will make it work.

Chuck, you kidnapped??

We're getting by OK buddy. Don't sweat the small stuff & it's all small stuff except what the Lord duh-bya is doing to this planet.

Th Fourth is always worth celebrating for the memory of where we have been, for the presence of mind to know where we now are, and for the dream of where we might be. Those who remember what liberty is and who are willing to fight for its defense will find a way to enjoy this day even with the recent dark nights.

Heretik, oh don't get me wrong, I will enjoy the 4th, for it is a time to be with family, but with a heavy heart .

Don't get too down, Bird. There is much that can be done and there are plenty of people to do it.

Thanks Heretik, perhaps the dark nights just get me to me sometimes.

It's been a long 5 years, and still 3 more to go. It gets to all of us sometimes.

Upon a darkened night
the flame of love was burning in my breast
And by a lantern bright
I fled my house while all in quiet rest
Shrouded by the night
and by the secret stair I quickly fled
The veil concealed my eyes
while all within lay quiet as the dead.
I like that song by Loreena. Well Peaceful rest!
