I like pie fights! They tickle!

But it depends on the pie involved - now, a good pumpkin pie and count me in!

The Guardian
Make the pie higher
This poem is composed entirely of actual quotes from George Bush. Circulating on the internet for some time, it was reportedly compiled by Washington Post writer Richard Thompson. Here we reproduce it to mark National Poetry Day.
Thursday October 10, 2002
I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.
Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the internet become more few?
How many hands have I shaked? They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope, where our
wings take dream. Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher! Make the pie higher!

Posted by: Karen | June 11, 2005 at 07:35 PM
and actually, it's apparently honeydew, according to this:
' The fresh flavor of ripe honeydew melon will please the most discriminating of palattes as it enhances drink and food recipes. The original Melon liqueur, eminently mixable. '
