The Heretik first came across The Paradigm Shifter when he was making his usual rounds across the provinces of Penistan and Vaginastan in Greater Blogostan.  As a blogslut seeking to suck up as much  um wisdom as possible, I stopped by the Hottie from Hell House of Some Kind of Repute occasionally known as Blondesense.  Oy.  Laying about with the Hotties Pissed Off Patricia and proprietres Liz (former graduate of Our Lady Of Mercy Academy in Syosset, New York) was this wonder called The Paradigm Shifter.  Oy, If you are a Christian, let me tell you it was like Jesus preaching at the temple to all the Mary Magdalenes.  It was like Gandalf losing all the holy Tolkien speak and telling Sauron what he really thought. @#$% you, you @#$% ing  @#$%.  They were discussing some non McKRAP in UnScientific UnAmerican:

THE PARADGIM SHIFTER ON "SCIENCE":
True Scientists are really in search of the truth through the scientific method...Many don't take themselves seriously...(granted some do however)
Science goes bad when it is sponsored say, by the wine industry to prove or disprove wine is good for your heart. If you pay enough money, the scientists will prove what ever you want.....
Or another example would be the recent study sponsored by Clorox to point out how many germs are lurking in and around our office equipment (comuters, phones, mouses, etc)
I don't consider Scientists for hire real scientists.

AND THE HERETIK SAYS: Shifter, you don't consider scientists for hire real scientists?  Why take all that time to consider things?  That would be thoughtful.  We don't live in thoughtful times . Real science?  Bush doesn't consider any science at all.  I love that cowboy mucho macho millionaire who clears brush to relax.  Now look at him taking setting the world in order with  his non play six guns. Ready, shoot, aim.  As Condi would say, Mister President, for cute, sir.  For cute.

No, I do not think Scientists for Hire are real Scientists. They pervert the Scientific Method of Investigation of Truth for ill-gotten gain and profit...Much in the sameway the Churches pervert and use the knowledge and wisdom of God and Spirituality for profit, ill-gotten gain, and political control.

No need to whet yourself too much, shifter. As to your questions, Nah, I just saw yer kommmints over at Blondesense and was intrigued.
Sometimes an intrigue is just and intrigue. No Penistan or Vaginastan involved.

As far as your time is going to come, don't flash back on too many Led Zeppelin songs here either. Just a welcome to the pages to you as what I hope will be a frequently feature guest Your stuff is great.
