BOOK OF REVELATION COMPLETE!
Earl Bockenfeld pointed The Heretik in the right direction on this!
Bush clearly is The Chosen One to lead The New Chosen People. The New Chosen People TM are currently on world tour, kicking ass in concert halls from Afghanistan to Iraq to right here at home . . . at least the haven't come home quite yet. Or have they. Tune in later tonight for an update on the latest front in the Bush Admin's War on Everything. Note: On Fox, they are calling it HOLY WAR TODAY! The Sacred vs The Profane.
More juicy bits from Earl from Bush Who Gets and Gets It Good from God.
During Bush's first term, he was to appear at Eisenhower Park in Nassau Country. The White House sent down through the Secret Service orders to the park workers:
"The president's feet are not to touch the dirt."
He doesn't want his feet on the ground and he was attending a groundbreaking ceremony. There's something VERY strange and disturbing about this that you may not realize: It's messianic. The exact same thing is said of Christ's return in Jerusalem until certain prophecies are fulfilled. Given this guy's obvious God-complex, I find this disturbingly meaningful.
Earl Bockenfeld knows his stuff. The Heretik is going to try to steal as much of it as he can. Here's more.
During the first Roadmap to peace in the Middle East, Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas had an amazing quote from a conversation with George Bush:
"God told me to strike at al-Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."
That last little bit got almost no play (rhymes with Yoplait) in the press when it was said. Now we are all eating so sour NoPlait Yogurt. Mommy, why does my stomach .. . . Mommy, I think I'm gonna throw up . . . . Son, look what you've done!. . . . You have thrown up all over the carpet . .. all over my nice new Middle East .. . .Just you wait til your father gets home. Oy.
Yes, Bush is the supreme holy commander of the armies of Christ. But he couldn't do it without his generals in the field.
Like Lt. Gen Boykin who said about fighting Muslims, "I knew that my God was bigger than his. I knew that my God was a real God and his was an idol...Our spiritual enemy...will only be defeated if we come against them in the name of Jesus." Or Lt Col. Brandl who spoke about the battle of Fallujah, "The enemy has got a face, he's called Satan. He lives in Fallujah and we're going to destroy him!"
It's true patriots like these who wage holy war against the non-Christian infidels. That makes me wonder, did God tell Bush to strike at Social Security, Medicaid and the Welfare State too?

Are we nuts? Why aren't we staging another Battle of Athens? I don't mean to disrespect the presnut or anything.....but have we lost our plunking minds? Somebody needs to help Riki-Tiki-Tavi get the help he so richly deserves.

God Hates Caribou. And his latest bleak tome:
"The sad fact is, there are a great many among us who believe we have entered into a new Dark Age, that it will be a long and brutal slog indeed and BushCo is merely the precursor, the devil's handmaiden, and that we have a long way to go into the bleak and the bloody and the environmentally devastating before the pendulum begins its slow swing back toward the light."
You have already burned at the stake once, my fine heretical friend. But those of us who have not already burned, are already collecting barbecue sauce and condiments so that when we do burn, we at least go out in a flavorful way...

Heretik, thanks for the featured link and the kind words. You're pretty sharp yourself. On the God subject;
What a telling contrast Bush's calculated religious posturing is to the true faith embodied by Nobel laureate Jimmy Carter. Carter uses belief in a God as a motivating force to build homes for families in need through Habitat for Humanity. Carter is a creator, a humble nurturer.
Bush, in contrast, uses his God in a showy way as a justification for destroying women and children, cities and democracy. He pits ally against ally. He divides the world in order to pursue war.
