JUDITH MILLER WOKE UP MONDAY MORNING
AND JUDITH MILLER WAS SHOCKED to discover another woman had stolen the headlines that so rightfully were Judy, Judy, Judy's [story]
THE NEWS GOT WORSE for Judy Miller. Prices at the pump were pissing people off. Judy thought the war she fought first with her mighty pen would bring oil to all who needed it.
MORE STORIES that piss Judith Miller off to follow soon. What has you pissed off this morning?
UPDATE: AS PREDICTED EARLIER TODAY [ARIANNA/ HUFFINGTON POST] Sources tell me that Judy Miller is telling friends that she has made a $1.2 million book deal with Simon & Schuster. I’ve heard from senior editors at the publishing house that the deal is still so hush-hush that word of it has not appeared in the memos that circulate among the editorial staff, keeping them updated on pending deals and acquisitions.
AND JUDY SPEAKS [CNN] I served 85 in jail because of my belief in the importance of upholding the confidential relationship journalists have with their sources. Believe me, I did not want to be in jail.
AND THE HERETIK ANSWERS: Judy, you did not want to be in jail but the over twelve thousand dollar a day payoff on the book deal sure made it a lot easier.

The same thing that pisses me off every morning - George W. Bush is our president and will continue to be until 2008.

$1.2 million to give Ahmed Chalabi some pleasure! Yikes. She's one expensive media whore.

I'd be willing to go to jail for, say, a thousand a day. So I'm cheap.

In an ideal world, the press corps would respond as follows:
Q: Judy, which is longer, Chalabi's lines of bull or Cheney's last throes?
Q: Judy, will you be sleeping with any other Iraqis spying for Iran?
Q: Judy, which do you prefer, the elephant in the room or the camel in the tent?
Q: Judy, did Scooter use a condom?
Q: Judy, do you know what the word "journalism" means?

Judith Miller, the very definition of the term "media ho".
What a joke that she's being passed off as some kind of martyr when what she really did was sold her journalistic integrity to the Bush administration. She makes me ill.
