[Shakespeare's Sister] The key to understanding what is the great success—and what may well be the ultimate downfall—of this administration was summed up beautifully by Mr. Shakes not so long ago: "The problem is that this administration is incompetent at absolutely everything except politics, at which they are extraordinarily good." It may have won them two elections, but I’m not convinced, for the first time, that they’ll be able to spin their way out of this one.UPDATE: Fitzgerald reportedly giving up tighty whities for boxers. Is Fitzgerald losing focus of investigation? Shakespeare's Sister just reported a source told a source that Fitzgerald will not change socks until current grand jury indicts them all.
UPDATE: Libby's lawyer denies being source of rumor on socks. Luskin unavailable for comment. Is Rove source on socks? Source tells source Fitzgerald’s wife has not made coffee for him in years.
A MORE SERIOUS VOICE
THE NY TIMES PINATA [Howard Kurtz/WaPo] Everyone seems to be beating up on the New York Times these days.
Not so much for what it's written, but for what it hasn't, in the Judy/Scooter/Karl/Valerie imbroglio.
UPDATE: Judith Miller never wrote story about tighty whities
From Shakespeare’s Sister: Proud Irish-American Pat Buchanan reminds public that "Fitz" means "bastard son of," and questions whether an illegitimate child is the right kind of American for this job.
UPDATE: Rumors Buchanan changed his name from FitzBuchanan denied.

I'm still waiting for the first appearance in Judith Miller's "Paper of Record" of the four words "White House Iraq Group" in their correct sequence. Even the Wall Street Journal mentioned WHIG today, so the Times is now behind the WSJ, LATimes, Newsday, CBS, ABC, WaPo, Fox, and probably a dozen other "lesser" news outlets in reporting ANY facts about the organization that planted fake WMD stories (through Ms Miller)and smeared Joe Wilson for telling the truth about their lies. I still think Pat Fitzgerald will connect these dots better than the Times (at least I have to hope so). When the Times does break their embargo on news about the WHIG (and I check daily), I'll report it prominently at WHIGgate Update.
