THE PRESIDENT WAS NOT DISTURBED
But The Heretik Is Disturbed. How Disturbed The Heretik is Remains to Be Seen.
So George Bush was on his mountain bike when the greatest threat since the last greatest threat flew over Washington. Yes, a two seater plane could have been the end of the world as we know it, at least in Washington the other day. At least the way cable news treated it. But the President Bush, Bush Junior was not disturbed. If I say I am relieved, I am lying. I am disturbed.
Because the President, the boy Bush was not disturbed. He was having his play time. The Boy President may not be disturbed when he is on his bike, even if people are running out of buildings like the buildings are on fire or could be.
Scottie McClellan says all protocols were observed in not disturbing the Boy President. Scott McClellan is not disturbed at all that the boy on the bike was not disturbed. The Heretik is not like Scott McClellan. I am disturbed. The country was disturbed with another jacked up terror alert the very day after Tom Ridge said the country had been jacked up by jacked up terror alerts all along.
Everyone else in Washington ran like hell with their hair on fire, from buildings you would think might be on fire. The Boy President meanwhile road on his bike like he was on fire. The President was not disturbed.
This Boy President needs his privacy, his bike, and some milk and cookies too.
“He's constantly chafing under how different the presidency is than the governorship,” says Ari Fleischer, Bush's former White House press secretary. “All presidents seek a zone of privacy.”
Bush uses the phone to keep in touch with friends. He delights in waking them with calls between 7 and 8 a.m., before his daily briefings begin, Fleischer says.
Now I understand and The Heretik is only somewhat less disturbed. That is the kind of President we need. A President with the serenity to ride a bike while people are running out of buildings like they are on fire, both the people and the buildings. We need a President who needs his privacy, but who delights in waking people up before his daily briefings begin. Daily briefings. A most disturbing subject. The President was not disturbed August Sixth way back in 2001 when he got that briefing on Osama Bin Out of the News a While. The Heretik is again disturbed the Boy President is not disturbed. Are You?
QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are You Disturbed that the President Is Not Disturbed? What Should the President Be Disturbed By? What threat requires the President to get off his bike? What can be dealt with later after cookies and ice cream. AND FINALLY: What disturbs you today? The Heretik Joe Ivory Mattingly wants to know.
I wondered what exactly they thought that little cessna was gonna do? Drop a nuke on em? Wouldn't everyone have been 'safer' if they stayed inside during the debacle?

Maybe the boy king was so engrossed in his bike ride that the Secret Service worried about upsetting him. European trips are "hard work" after all. I think he needs some Damned Musick on his iPod to wake him up!

Agitprop, I just got word the trail Bush was riding on . . nah, I shouldn't tell you or you will go Agitapoplectic on me.
Okay fine. The trail Bush was riding is ordinarily closed to bikes. Big no bikes signs everywhere. OY.

Disturbed, you ask? As I done my tin foil hat about this whole entire mess. There is no doubt about what really went down on the sunny , blue skied day in September of 2001.

You do know he had trouble keeping the bike upright here in Texas right? He had some kind of accident with a garbage truck at some point.

Bush is a fucking loony tune...he hasn't had to work for a fucking thing his entire life...the hardest was the last campaign, and that's his work...
Bush wouldn't be concerned if the World Trade Center fell on him...until he realized the political implications...
He's a fucking fraud, and as long as Rove isn't concerned, then we know that the guy "really in charge" has a handle on things...
