MARCH IS WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH
Today's Featured Woman Blogger!
PIC FROM Iron Jawed Angels
Meet PseudoAdrienne here
"I'm a Liberal, Secular, half-Black/half-White, 'Third-Wave' Feminist
For Abortion Rights, Racial Civil Rights, LGBT Civil Rights, and yes, I
have issues with the Bush Administration."
Pseudo powers throught cant and can't do. True vision requires action, or the world falls blind. Not a false word here:
And to all of the Women Bloggers, Second Wave Feminists, and Suffragists such as Alice Paul, Susan B. Athony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who all came before me and other women and girls--who labored, incurred bigotry and persecution, and even died to give me and all women and girls the opportunities, rights, and freedoms we enjoy today--THANK YOU!!!! I am humbled by you all for your unwavering diligence in the struggle. However, we still have work to do. Until there's a 'Madam President' and our Houses and Senates truly represent us and protect our rights and liberties to the fullest extent, as they have always done for our male peers.

MEDIA GIRL
Just because something is unconstitutional doesn't mean that the government won't try doing it. Consider the things the government is doing right now. I don't know about Iron Mouth, but I would rather not have to leave my First Amendment rights up to the current Supreme Court, nor would I want to have to keep a ledger of all the links and clicks and quotes in my blog relating to politics while the inevitable court challenge makes its way ever so slowly through the federal court system.
MEDIA GIRL WILL SAVE US ALL!

THE HERETIK REALLY, REALLY HEARTS ARETE
Krista Kennedy is a Rhetoric Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota
and an informal student in the UMN Law School. Her research involves
intersections of networked rhetorics and intellectual property law. And she has a great love of poetry. This student is a teacher. Take notes.
All props to feministe for pointing the way to Arete.
The Heretik first heard about Lauren at feministe when she got the call about the blogroll: If possible, I'd love to join your "wise women" roll. I'm fairly wise depending which side of the bed I wake up on. Humor, Heretik he like the humor and what ones as got it.
feministe in her own words:
Lauren of Feministe is a single mother of one and full-time student
living in central Indiana surrounded by corn, soybean fields, and 180
degrees of sky.
She gardens, knits, and blogs in what little spare time she has, and hopes to graduate sometime before the turn of the next century.
She started blogging to get over the isolation of new motherhood almost five years ago, and has stuck with it ever sense, knowing that if one can’t find fellow-minded folks in Indiana, one must look elsewhere.
Good job, Heretik! Thanks so much for this.

Thanks for reminding me that it's Women's History Month. The climate in this country has become decidedly more anti-woman, as well as more anti- a whole lot of other things. I'll have to do something to change that.

Ah, my loyal minister! I shall have to tax some small villages for you!

Thanks for the mention, Heretik - so far it looks like you may be the only one taking the Pen-Elayne Pledge this month...

You are so cool, Heretik! Lots of people have linked back to Pinko Feminist Hellcat's site, but you are kind enough to print the entire list. I'll have to figure out how to do the same over at my lowly blog.
Also, I love the "feminister" title. I kept thinking about using the term "Ministress" but that just made me want to puke. Especially since my stresses haven't been "mini" lately.
One minor quibble: the name is Ravenmn -- which means the Raven from Minnesota. Long story not worth explaining.
Also, I love the Malcolm X graphic. You could (or I could do it for you) make downloadable postcards of your artwork. I'd love to send that image through the mail!
